Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Accurate information only

TrueStub is a tool for creating pay stubs that reflect real, accurate payroll information. By using this service you certify that every detail you enter — employer, employee, pay amounts, dates — is true and accurate, and that you are authorized to create the pay stub (for example, you are the employer, the payroll administrator, or the self-employed worker).

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use TrueStub to:

Misuse of pay stubs to deceive third parties is illegal and can carry serious civil and criminal penalties, including fines and imprisonment. We cooperate with lawful investigations.

3. Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, and block accounts at our discretion — including when we detect patterns consistent with fraudulent use (for example, bulk generation with inconsistent or implausible employer information). Paid orders cancelled by us under this section will be refunded.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from TrueStub.

5. Estimates, not advice

Tax calculations are estimates based on 2026 federal, state, and FICA tables and the information you provide. They are not tax advice or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for your situation.

6. No guarantee of third-party acceptance

We do not guarantee that any landlord, lender, employer, or agency will accept a TrueStub pay stub. Third parties verify income in their own ways, and acceptance is entirely their decision.

7. Digital goods and refunds

Because pay stub PDFs are delivered instantly as digital goods, all sales are final once the file is generated — except where we cancel an order under Section 3, or where a technical failure on our side prevents delivery.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
